Schreiber students and staff spent the morning volunteering at Good Shepherd Center’s Sgt. Eugene Ashley Memorial Center, serving Veterans experiencing homelessness right here in our community. We want our students to understand that leadership isn’t just about personal success. It’s about showing up for others with compassion and a willingness to help.

Watching our team work together in the garden was a powerful reminder that meaningful change often begins with simple acts of service. They gave their time and energy to people who deserve our gratitude and respect, and in return they left with a real sense of pride. They worked hard, laughed together, got their hands dirty, and discovered that helping others feels good, too. Experiences like these remind our students that serving their community isn’t just important—it’s rewarding, and it can even be a lot of fun.

To keep building these opportunities, we’re raising support for expanded programming this summer. If this resonates with you, donate here.
